Oakey Family Dental is a genuine family owned and operated business. As a father and son dental team we take pride in treating all of our patients like family. Our focus is on patient needs and providing preventative treatments so small dental problems don’t become major, expensive ones. We do not delegate any treatment to hygienists or therapists so you always receive treatment from an experienced dentist of your choice.
We focus on providing gentle personalised dental care using high-tech and modern equipment including 3D scanners, intra-oral cameras and digital X-rays to make your visit to our dental surgery comfortable and efficient.
Dr Christopher Reeves
Since graduating from Griffith University Dr Chris has enjoyed honing his skills and is loving all aspects of general and restorative dentistry.
Chris, his wife Alex and sons Hugo and Thomas have made Oakey their home and are enjoying being part of the local community.
Christopher was born and raised in Emerald, Central Queensland and completed high school at Brisbane Grammar School. After achieving a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Queensland in 2006 he worked for Queensland Fertility Group as a cytogeneticist (feel free to ask him what this is) before deciding a career change was required.
His opportunity came when he enrolled in dentistry at Griffith University and he graduated from the five-year degree in December 2015.
Dr Kim David Reeves
Dr Kim is an experienced family dentist offering quality personalised dental treatment for all ages. With 30 years’ experience and having owned practices in Emerald and Queen St Brisbane, Dr Reeves understands the importance of both a healthy pain free mouth and a beautiful smile.
Having worked in busy successful dental practices both in the country and city, Kim has extensive experience in all areas of general dentistry and has a special interest in endodontic, cosmetic and crown and bridge work. Kim has a unique understanding of patient care and believes dental care is most effective when it's performed thoughtfully and individually, one person at a time. He is committed to keeping up with developments in all areas of dentistry through attending courses and webinars, liaising with colleagues and through personal reading and research.
